Porter Robinson, also formerly known under the aliases Ekowraith and Bloodsphere, is an American electronic music producer and DJ.

Early lifeEdit

Robinson began producing music when he was 12 years old[1] and joined music website as Bloodsphere in 2006.[2] Later, he began producing under the Ekowraith alias using FL Studio.

In 2011, he signed a deal with OWSLA to release his debut extended play, Spitfire. As the first release on OWSLA, it reached number one on the iTunes Dance chart as well as number one on Beatport's overall chart, crashing Beatport's servers upon release.

Robinson released his next single, "Language", in 2012; the next year, he collaborated with Mat Zo on "Easy".

His debut studio album, Worlds, was released in August 2014.

On August 11, 2016, Robinson released a single with French music producer Madeon, "Shelter", which was accompanied by a back-to-back tour called the Shelter Live Tour. An official animated music video for the song, dubbed Shelter the Animation, was released in October 2016 and executive produced by Robinson.
